CHAMBER ADVOCACY ROUNDTABLE
Join the Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce advocacy committee to have a conversation about what’s important to you! Use the Chamber network to influence government and create solutions for our business community.
You can join the discussion either in person at the Chamber office or online via Teams.
This round table discussion with our members will help us to form our 2025 advocacy platform.
Here’s how our advocacy works.- We receive feedback from our members at events such as this roundtable, and through regular communication.
- Our advocacy committee reviews the information to meet policies deadlines for the Alberta Chambers of Commerce and Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
- If the issue has a direct impact on our business community, we will develop a policy resolution which will be either brought forward to our municipality, or to our provincial and federal chamber networks where we collectively vote on policies.
- Once policies are submitted to different levels of government, our municipal chamber will advocate locally, whereas our provincial and federal chambers will advocate at their level of government. Note: All policies begin at the municipal chamber level.
Registration is limited to 18 members to ensure everyone is being heard and has a chance to speak, so sign up quickly while space is available!
