Service to the community has always been my passion, and I have volunteered in some form or another since 1988. I've worked in a number of industries, including health care, security, and information technology. My true passion is nonprofit management, and I have served on various Boards of Directors as a volunteer. I have chaired the Autism Calgary Association Board, as well as the Airdrie and District Hospice Society Board. My first paid position in nonprofit management was with Volunteer Airdrie in 2009, when I became their first executive director. I have served as a consultant, and have helped a few startup nonprofits get incorporated and succeed in their first few years. After 14 years, I am pleased to return to Volunteer Airdrie as the new Board Chair!
